Aisha Hill grew up in Haiku on the North Shore of Maui, where he attended Haiku Elementary, Kalama Intermediate, and Saint Anthony’s High School. He moved to California for college where he graduated with honors from California State University, Chico, with dual degrees in Anthropology and Studio Art. After a few years traveling the world and a stint as a professional whitewater kayaker, he attended the University of California, Davis School of Law.
In 2008 Aisha practiced law in the Anchorage District Attorney’s Office as an Alaska Bar certified law student. After graduating law School in 2009, he interned with the Hood River District Attorney’s Office and in 2010 returned to Maui. Back home, he had the invaluable opportunity to clerk for the Honorable Joel E. August, and subsequently, the Honorable Rhonda I. L. Loo in the Second Judicial Circuit where he assisted the judges in all aspects of civil and business litigation, including contract law, tort law, real estate, and environmental law.
Later Aisha Hill worked as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney and then a Deputy Public Defender where he represented accused individuals in a broad range of charges including felonies, misdemeanors, and other infractions.
Aisha now lives in Haiku with his wife and two children. When not practicing law, he loves spending time with his family and playing in the outdoors.
